THE STORY SO FAR
He grew up listening to all the big showbands of the time, such as Philomena Begley, Roly Daniels, Brian Coll, Gene Stuart, Sean Dunphy, and the Indians.
From an early age Colin, yearned to play in a country band, but his full-time work commitments and the responsibility of providing for a young family became his main priority. However, throughout his life the longing to play country music tingled at his fingertips, but it wasn’t until his maturing years that his musical dream looked like it could become a reality.
Colin has a born natural talent for music and he plays music by ear.
On turning 50, he took to playing the keyboard and is now highly respected by his peers as an accomplished keyboard player.
Since then his music journey has gone from strength to strength and is now one of the most successful, one-man, social dance, showband acts in Ireland.
During his short career Colin has played support to many well-known stars such as Johnny Brady, Stephen Smyth,
Susan McCann, John McNicholl, Eamonn Jackson, Joe Davitt, Patrick O’Sullivan, Cliona Hagan, Shaun Cuddy and Thomas & Fiona Ennis to name just a few.
